Directors and officers

The Far City Mining management team is fielded by a team of leading figures in the mining, financial industries. This talented panel of executives has been and will continue to be instrumental in the growth of Far City Mining.



MR. HARRY TAK SHING LAM – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

(Age 48 years), has extensive experience in accounting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, administration and business consultancy for over 28 years. He holds a Bachelor degree and a Master degree in Business Administration. He has been independent non-executive director in many Hong Kong listed companies and member of audit committee of public companies for many years. For the last five years Mr Lam devoted much of his time to acquisition, development and trading of mining projects.



MR. PATRICK PAK HIM WONG – Chief Financial officer

(Age 30 years), is an accounting graduate with more than 7 years of accounting, audit, project appraisals and corporate finance experience. Familiar with accounting standards and taxation regulations in Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China. He is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.



MR. HU PICHENG

Currently a Senior Engineer (Professor Level) in China Enfi Engineering Corporation (“China Enfi”) and responsible for non-ferrous metallurgy plant design, scientific research, technological consultation and technological service. Mr. Hu joined China Enfi in 1964 and retired in July, 2002. He was re-employed in August, 2002. He has 44 years in metallurgic experience. He was granted the title of Senior Engineer (Professor Level) by China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Corporation on November 28, 1997. Mr. Hu is a member of China Metal Association since March 5, 1992 and member of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association since February 27, 1992. He is also a registered metallurgical engineer granted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Personnel on September 1, 2008.



MR. YANG PEIXING

Graduated from Dongbei Engineering Institute (now known as Northeastern University, Shenyang) with a Mining Degree in 1964, is currently a Senior Engineer (Professor Level) in China Enfi Engineering Corporation (“China Enfi”) and responsible for design work in the consultation department. Mr. Yang joined China Enfi in 1964 and retired in 2000. He was re-employed in 2001. He has over 44 years experience in the mining industry. He was granted the title of Senior Engineer (Professor Level) by China National Non-ferrous Metals Industry Corporation on September 27, 1998. Mr. Yang is a member of China Metal Association since March, 1992. He is also member of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association on February 27, 1992. He is also a registered mining engineer granted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Personnel on September 1, 2008.



MR. ZHANG WENHAI

Graduated from Nanjing University with a Geology Degree in 1956, is currently working in Mineral Resources Evaluation Centre of Ministry of Land and Resources and responsible for the mining design work for many domestic and international corporations. He is also presiding over the design work for many foreign mines involving in the preparation of relevant provisions of mine design. He has been a Senior Engineer (Professor Level) granted by China National Non-ferrous Metals Industry Corporation since December 16, 1996. Mr. Zhang is a member of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association since 1992. He got his certified appraiser of the value of mineral reserves granted by Ministry of Personnel of People’s Republic of China on December 12, 2002.



MR. JOSEPH TAM

is a retired management and finance professional. He has over 35 years of experience in project management, factory administration, financial control and management and corporate finance in multi-national companies. He also has extensive experience in internal audit, budgeting and budget control, costing and cost control and, inventory management. He set up a large electronics manufacturing facility in China for a public company in Hong Kong and was the General Manager in-charge of whole operations of the plant.
